Throughout history, in the field of art, especially painting, various attempts have been made to express changes in the weather in nature. In the East, the effects of brushes and ink, which were invented in China, were used to beautifully express natural phenomena such as changes in light and atmosphere, wind, rain, and clouds. Literati entrusted the ideal of seclusion to landscape paintings depicting deep mountains and valleys with vast, flowing clouds. In the 11th century, paintings such as the "Mie-ho Landscape Paintings" technique, which depicts clouds floating thickly at the foot of the mountains, and the "Eight Views of Xiaoxiang," which focuses on depicting landscapes that change from moment to moment depending on the weather and time of day, were born and became a theme that is widely loved in East Asia. Furthermore, various works were created that organically interact with motifs, such as those that depict scenes from famous Chinese poems and anecdotes, and those that symbolize the ideal form of humans by depicting plants that stand bravely against the wind and frost. Through paintings from China, the Korean peninsula, and Japan, this exhibition explores how the ever-changing weather has been expressed in East Asia.

If you&#39;re in Japan, you absolutely have to visit the deer. They&#39;re incredibly friendly and will follow you if you have a biscuit. When taking photos, try to find does and fawns; males can be aggressive. The park is huge, right next to Todai-ji Temple. It&#39;s a great place to wander around and enjoy ice cream, drinks, and snacks.

Todai-ji Temple is located alongside Nara Park, so you can interact with the deer while visiting the temple. You need a separate ticket to enter the temple, but you can still enjoy the exterior.

Near the highest point of Nara Park, it takes more than 20 minutes to walk after getting off the bus. There are many lights and deer along the way. Pay attention to the business hours. If you go too late, you can&#39;t get in. If you have been to Kasuga Taisha, you can go to Wakakusa Mountain to watch the sunset. You must arrive before 17:00, otherwise the ticket seller will lock the door after get off work and you can only go out but not in.

After descending from Kasuga Taisha Shrine, turn right at the fork in the road, then left, and walk through the alley to reach the ticket office. You must buy a ticket before 5 PM, otherwise it will be closed and you can only exit, not enter. There are many deer on the hillside, and you can overlook Nara Castle from the top of the hill. The hillside is quite steep, so be careful when walking.

It was built by the Tang Dynasty monk Jianzhen in 759 AD and completed in 770 AD. It is the main temple of the Vinaya School of Japanese Buddhism. It is listed as one of the two major temples for the dissemination and research of Vinaya along with the Kaidan-in of Todaiji Temple. The banner on the gate of the temple, &quot;Tōshōdaiji&quot;, was written by the Japanese Empress Koken in the style of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi. There are lecture halls and ordination platforms from the Tenpyō era, golden halls from the Nara era, and drum towers from the Kamakura era in the temple. The golden hall, sutra collection, drum tower, and statue of Jianzhen are known as national treasures. Jianzhen also brought the high level of civilization of the Tang Dynasty in China, and promoted the improvement of the level of Buddhism, medicine, architecture, and sculpture in Japan. In 1980 and 2010, the statue of Jianzhen returned to Yangzhou twice to &quot;visit relatives&quot;. In 1998, Toshōdaiji was listed as a World Cultural Heritage as an important part of the &quot;Cultural Heritage of the Ancient Capital of Nara&quot;.
