The BMX coaching workshop session organized by Freestyle Now in partnership with the City of Fremantle is a fantastic opportunity for participants aged 12 and above to enhance their BMX skills. The sessions will be held at the Esplanade Youth Plaza in Fremantle on October 1, 2024. The event is free of charge and will feature two sessions: Session 1 at 9am and Session 2 at 10am. Participants will receive technical advice, trick tips, skill development, and skatepark etiquette guidance from experienced Freestyle Now squad members. Each 50-minute coaching session will be followed by a 10-minute parent information session focusing on safety, BMX bike understanding, and skatepark etiquette. It is essential for all participants to bring their own equipment, wear a helmet and closed-in shoes, and be over the age of 6. Parents must remain on-site for children under 12. The workshop aims to not only improve skills but also build confidence in participants, with a focus on safety and individual progression.
