Creative writing is both method and magic. Our workshops move between learning and doing, engaging the conscious and unlocking the subconscious mind. Each session uses best-in-class examples from screen and print to bring the theory to life, drive debate and ignite the creative spark. We set aside plenty of time for writing, and each session closes with a chance for writers to share work if they wish. Booksmiths are Rebecca Whitney and Alex Hourston, two published authors and experienced teachers who've built the course they wish had existed when they were starting out, designed to get you started and keep you writing.
