The BOVTS Directing Theatre course is a five-day program that covers the essential principles of being a theatre director. Held at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in Clifton, the course provides a comprehensive overview of the director's role in bringing scripts to life. Participants will learn how to interpret scripts and effectively direct actors to convey their artistic vision on stage. In addition, the course offers insights into collaborating with other production departments to gain a holistic understanding of the theatrical process. 

Please note that this course is only available to individuals aged 18 and above. The cost of the course is £570.00, and refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. It is important to be aware that the BOVTS courses require a minimum number of participants to proceed. If this threshold is not met, the course may be cancelled. Participants will be notified at least 7 days before the start date and will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
