We are here 20 years later because of the many partners, stakeholders, and thousands of workforce practitioners and leaders who have trusted us to support them and shape this field.

this 20th Birthday belongs to Workforce Development. 
This celebration is about honoring the people, innovations, and impact that make this work possible—the practitioners, leaders, and organizations that have changed lives and built stronger communities.

Patricia "Pat" J. Jenny
, Vice President for Grants, New York Community Trust (retired) and WPTI Board Member. Throughout her distinguished 35-year tenure at the New York Community Trust, Pat played a pivotal role in shaping the workforce development landscape through strategic investments, including the NYC Workforce Funders Collaborative, the city’s first industry partnership New York Alliance for Careers in Healthcare, and ongoing support for workforce intermediaries like WPTI. As a founding visionary and funder of WPTI, she ensured that workforce organizations had the infrastructure and support needed to drive innovation and impact. Now serving as WPTI’s Board Treasurer, Pat remains a guiding force in the sector, and provides us inspiration for journeying ahead.

Metropolitan Museum of Art: Inception Space for Human Civilization This 130,000 square-metre maze hides a larger landscape than the New York skyline. It is recommended to start your time-travel from the Greek and Roman exhibition halls - the sun shines through the glass dome on the 6th century BC marble statues, the lines of the muscles of the gods are still breathing. The temple of the Danyu Temple in the Egyptian Pavilion is the most breathtaking. This visit to the Statue of Liberty in New York was really worth it! The environment on the island is clean and tidy and well managed. If the weather is sunny, it is especially suitable for taking pictures and punching in. The Empire State Building is one of the tourist attractions in New York City, receiving a large number of tourists every year. A must-visit spot in NYC! Rockefeller Center is not just iconic&mdash;it&rsquo;s also incredibly functional. Walking through the building is a great experience, with beautiful architecture, vibrant public spaces, and plenty of food options in and around the concourse. One of the best features is the subway station right in the lower level, making it super easy to get to. And of course, it&rsquo;s home to my favorite observation deck in the city&mdash;Top of the Rock. The views are unbeatable!
