Join Dunedin Consort for a delightful day of singing at the Choral Workshop in Aberdeen on 17 February 2024. Led by the renowned soprano and vocal trainer Mhairi Lawson, participants will have the opportunity to explore Haydn's Creation, a magnificent choral work. This workshop is suitable for singers of all voice types, regardless of their level of experience. While some familiarity with reading music is beneficial, the workshops are open to anyone interested in enhancing their skills and musicality.

The event will take place at the majestic St Machar's Cathedral in Aberdeen. Upon registration at 09:30, participants will embark on a guided journey through the uplifting and dramatic repertoire of Haydn's Creation, immersing themselves in the rich harmonies and emotive melodies. The workshop will run from 10:00 to 16:30, allowing ample time for participants to refine their vocal technique and deepen their understanding of this timeless composition.

Ticket prices range from £0 to £35 and include the hire of scores as well as light refreshments throughout the day. At 16:30, there will be an informal performance where participants can showcase their progress. Friends and family are welcome to attend this special moment.

Please note that ticket refunds are only available in the event of cancellation or date change. If the date of the workshop is rescheduled, tickets will be automatically transferred unless a refund is requested. Although personal reasons for not attending are regrettable, tickets cannot be refunded. However, the name on the ticket can be changed if someone else wishes to take your place.
