Weekend ScheduleFriday, April 11th, 2025 | 7pm - 9pm Oriental Technique & Combinations a la Chudney - 15 SPOTS ONLY! Technique and combinations go hand and hand. How can you dance a combination if you can’t execute the individual moves? Chudney will break down fresh and challenging moves, drill them, and then strategically place them into dynamic combinations to pull it all together for a polished look. Get ready to rak out as we drill and combo up a sweat! Location: Oasis Dance Center, 26 Webster Street in North Tonawanda Saturday, April 12th, 2025 10am - 12pm 5,6,7,8, “and” Did you know “And” is sometimes considered a number in dance? This transition between 8 and 1, can single out the novice dancer from the professional. This workshop will help you connect the step between the end of a count set and the next, or the change in between phrases in music for the non counters. Through a series of basic combinations we will apply the “And” and transform the combinations into one seamless piece, using different techniques to dance on the “And”. Help 8 and 1 connect in your next masterpiece and forever be bonded! Location: Milton J Brounshidle Post Ballroom; 3354 Delaware Ave in Kenmore Saturday, April 12th, 2025 1pm - 3pm Romantic Pop Choreography Bring the drama and passion! Learn a short romantic oriental choreography to a sensual and smooth ballad of love. In this choreography based workshop, we will play with expressing the emotion of the song lyrics as well as the powerful and soulful melody and rhythm. Go back in time and discover the stylings of belly dance greatest and how to apply them to your dance to add flair to your modernized repertoire. Great for all levels! Location: Milton J Brounshidle Post Ballroom; 3354 Delaware Ave in Kenmore Early Bird RatesEarly bird rates are in effect until December 1st, 2024.
