Learn more about life on board one of these unique 68 foot race yachts which are used by Clipper Race crew to complete their initial three levels of training. These yachts were also used in four previous editions of the Clipper Race before being replaced by the current fleet of Clipper 70s.
Chat with the Skipper, First and Second Mates about their sailing experiences and enjoy the views as you motor out of the Portsmouth Harbour entrance and replicate what the Clipper 2025-26 Race crews will be doing as they depart en-route to the start of the upcoming Clipper Race.
DETAILS
Cost £5 per person, which will be donated to UNICEF, UK.
Must be aged 16 or over and be able to fit into an adult sized life jacket/ Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Board at Gunwharf Quays Marina, Portsmouth.
Arrive 15 minutes early to check-in before boarding the yacht.
Wear sensible, flat, preferably rubber-soled shoes (like trainers) to be safe while you move around on board.
We recommend you bring a water bottle (no food or alcohol allowed), hat and light jacket if breezy.
NOTE this is a motor tour on a Clipper 68 and 
not a sailing experience
.
