Doors: 6.30pm, starts: 6.45pm Tickets are £4. Admission is free when purchasing a copy the book. About the books: EMERGENCY is a novel about the dissolving boundaries between all life on earth. Stuck at home alone under lockdown, a woman recounts her 1990s childhood in rural Yorkshire. She watches a kestrel hunting, helps a farmer with a renegade bull, and plays out with her best friend, Clare. Around her in the village her neighbours are arguing, keeping secrets, caring for one another, trying to hold down jobs. In the woods and quarry there are foxcubs fighting, plants competing for space, ageing machines, and a three-legged deer who likes cake. These local phenomena interconnect and spread out from China to Nicaragua as pesticides circulate, money flows around the planet, and bodies feel the force of distant power. A story of remote violence and a work of praise for a persistently lively world, brilliantly written, surprising, evocative and unsettling, Daisy Hildyard's Emergency reinvents the pastoral novel for the climate change era. The poems of SOME INTEGRITY bring something new to the Irish lyric tradition. Queerness is a way of looking, a perspective, grounded in an awareness of the porous and provisional nature of our bodies. The book's social encounters and exchanges, its responses to the work of artists, its figures in a landscape, and its considerations of food and desire, work as capsule narratives and as an exhilarating extension of that lyric tradition. About the authors: Daisy Hildyard is author of two novels – Emergency (2022) and Hunters in the Snow (2014) – and one work of nonfiction, The Second Body (2017). She lives in the north of England.  Padraig Regan's debut Collection Some Integrity was published by Carcanet in 2022 and was awarded the Clarissa Luard Award and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. They are the author of two poetry pamphlets: Delicious (Lifeboat, 2016) and Who Seemed Alive & Altogether Real (Emma Press, 2017). In 2015, they were a recipient of an Eric Gregory Award, and in 2020 they were awarded the Ireland Chair of Poetry Bursary Prize. They hold a PhD on creative-critical and hybridised writing practices in medieval texts and the work of Anne Carson from the Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen's University Belfast, where they were a Ciaran Carson Writing and the City Fellow in 2021. They were Fellow Commoner in Creative Arts at Trinity College Cambridge from 2022- 2024. Tickets are £4.00. Admission is free when purchasing a copy of either of the books. The teacher started from the Oxford University Museum and finally went to Chris Church College, bringing us a very detailed history of Britain and the origin of Oxford. The most impressive thing is the story of Bloody Mary: the conflict between the new and old churches, the three archbishops who were burned to death, and the violence and killing caused by an unfortunate childhood.
The teacher prepared very carefully! When narrating, he could also cite modern classics. The children could also fill in and remember these stories based on film and television works, such as the history of the entire Oxford University &amp; the division of labor of the colleges, etc., which can be understood in combination with the plot of Harry Potter~

The Bridge of Sighs (Oxford University, UK) is officially called Hertford Bridge. It is a famous attraction at Oxford University. The construction of the Bridge of Sighs began in 1913 (completed in 1914). It crosses New College Road and connects the old and new parts of Hertford College. It is a famous attraction at Oxford University. It was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson. Because the bridge is similar to the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy, it is called the Bridge of Sighs. I came to Oxford University with a tour group and could only take a quick look.

There are many branches under the library, among which the Radcliffe Camera branch has become an important landmark of Oxford University. Many books are stored here, and non-Oxford University students can also visit it. Bodori Library is composed of a group of buildings of different historical periods and styles.
