Coffee & Conversations
, featuring Ashley Barclay from the 
Centre for Sexuality
, a leading organization offering education and counselling to support healthy relationship development. Together, we’ll explore practical tools and strategies to help young people grow their confidence and communication skills in all kinds of relationships.
We’ll dive into topics like:
How youth understand and experience relationships
Supporting youth in developing strong communication skills
Understanding and teaching consent in age-appropriate ways
Tools to foster self-respect and respect for others
This session is ideal for mentors, parents, educators, and anyone who supports youth in building the skills they need to thrive in their relationships. Whether you’re navigating tough conversations or simply looking for tools to guide youth in healthy ways, you’ll walk away with new insights, resources, and renewed confidence in your role.
After the session, stick around for open conversation, hot coffee or tea, and light refreshments. It’s a chance to connect, share stories, and grow as a community.

The event is free for all to attend however, we encourage a suggested donation of $10 onsite.

Location & Accessibility Details:
The event will be held at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area office at 5945 Centre Street S. There is free onsite parking and a 5-minute walk from the Chinook C-Train station. The building entrance has an accessible ramp, however, please note washroom doors do not.

A fun, festive, and educational experience foreveryone. The Park has an assortment ofactivities, rides, food, civic museums, and heritage architecture emphasizing the cultural significance of early Prairie settlement/life.It&#39;s like taking a step back in time, and it&#39;s worthevery dollar. 11/10 do recommend.

It looks like a tunnel bridge, and it is also a transportation hub for passing through the other side of the river. The color of this bridge is very eye-catching, with red intersecting structures. Vehicles cannot pass through, but people and bicycles can pass freely. There are lights at night, and Fengjia feels magnificent.

it&#39;s a nice place to visit not only for kids but for adults who love animals as well. i went here alone, and it was nice to have a walk and see the animals at the same time. sadly,the pandas are gone, but i got to see them before they&#39;re gone.
