About the artist Maathavan Kalaichelvan Maathavan Kalaichelvan is one of Singapore’s few male veena instrumentalists dedicated to preserving Indian classical music while exploring new artistic possibilities. With a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Social Work, he seamlessly blends his passion for music with his commitment to social impact. His performances span theatre productions, multiethnic ensembles, and dance dramas, showcasing the veena’s versatility across genres. Through these collaborations, he highlights how Indian music harmonizes beautifully with diverse traditions, reflecting Singapore’s multicultural spirit. As a music tutor at Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre (MOE), Maathavan mentors young musicians, ensuring the veena’s legacy continues. His work as a social worker further deepens his belief in music as a tool for healing and connection. With each performance, Maathavan brings warmth, depth, and innovation, making him a key figure in Singapore’s evolving music landscape. Date of Visit: May 27, 2025I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gardens by the Bay, and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. The highlight of my visit was the captivating Jurassic Park attraction, which brought a thrilling prehistoric ambiance to the gardens. The exhibits were incredibly detailed, and the immersive environment made me feel like I had stepped back in time.The overall scenery was nothing short of spectacular. The lush greenery, vibrant flora, and innovative landscapes created a serene and awe-inspiring environment. Every corner of the gardens offered a picturesque view, perfect for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.I wholeheartedly rate my visit a perfect 10/10. Gardens by the Bay is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience natural beauty combined with creative, thematic attractions.

Take a taxi to the mountain and go directly to line up for luge. Remember to confirm your reserved session (I missed it, but the lady changed the time for me). If you have a multiple-ticket ticket, you can slide down and then take the cable car up to slide. Generally speaking, it is worth playing, and the ticket price is not very expensive. When you slide down, the speed is very fast and it is very cool. It is recommended to buy a cup of Mr. Coconut after sliding down, and then take the cable car up to slide. If you leave, take the cable car to the mountain and take a taxi back.

Sentosa Island is very good, the theme park has more projects, Jurassic Park, Xiaohuangren, etc. On the island, the ecology is mainly good, there are many birds, and I have seen seagulls, peacocks and lizards.
