When Harold Hill, a traveling con man, arrives in River City, he convinces the locals to start a band by purchasing the uniforms and instruments from him. His intention is to flee as soon as he receives the money. Librarian Marian Paroo suspects Harold is a fraud but holds her tongue since her moody brother, Winthrop, is excited about the band. As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces a difficult decision about skipping town. Meredith Willson's six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. Having a boat trip in Cambridge can give a good experience of punting on the River Cam and also get lots of interesting stories about each college at the University of Cambridge. However, the cost of it is quite expensive.

There is a statue of Henry VIII at the entrance to Trinity College. There is an apple tree on the green lawn at the entrance of the College, which is the source of Newton&#39;s law of gravity. When you enter the courtyard of the College, the magnificent building brings a sense of awe. The front hall of the church is filled with jade statues of famous graduates from Trinity College, including Newton, Bacon, Tennyson and others.

Bridge of Sighs

The Bridge of Sighs is a covered bridge in Cambridge, England. It belongs to St. John&#39;s College, Cambridge University. It was built in 1831 and spans the River Cam. The architect was Henry Hutchinson. It is named after the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
