As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver you the gift of festive laughs all evening long. Shane Daniel Byrne Shane Daniel Byrne is a writer, actor, MC, and award-winning stand-up comedian. His debut show, But He’s Gay, sold out at both Edinburgh and Dublin Fringe Festivals in 2023, with extra shows added due to demand. In 2024, he embarks on his first national tour, including two nights at Vicar Street. Shane headlines top comedy clubs across Ireland and has supported Tony Cantwell, Emma Doran, Kiri Pritchard-McClean, and David O’Doherty. He's appeared at major festivals like The Cat Laughs, Vodafone Comedy Festival, and Electric Picnic.
On TV, Shane was a surprise guest on LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland (Prime Video) and hosted Love Bites (RTÉ). He's a regular on The Six O'Clock Show (Virgin Media) and has contributed to Ireland AM. As an MC, Shane has hosted Dublin Pride and various events for Yelp.ie, Bulmers Light, and more. Breda Hegarty Breda Hegarty is a comedian & actor. She’s featured in the TV comedy series Bridget & Eamon, Irish film The Closing and legendary Irish soap opera Ros na Rún. Kevin Gildea Kevin Gildea is a comedian, writer, award winning playwright, interviewer, Irish Times book reviewer and potential novelist. Kevin has gigged all over Britain and Ireland and the rest of the known world – from Singapore to Sligo. He’s headlined gigs in Johannesburg and Cape Town and regularly plays all the major comedy festivals in Ireland – The Electric Picnic, ATN, The Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens, The Galway Comedy Festival, Kilkenomics As a TV art’s reporter he has interviewed – amongst others – Terry Gilliam, Will Self, Eddie Izzard, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. ‘Highly original and Explosively funny’

Dublin Castle has a long royal history and the attractions are worth visiting. The ticket price is only 8 euros (6 euros for those over 60 years old).
