Please join us as we honor three extraordinary Women of Achievement, and one Extraordinary Man of Achievement, who have each contributed to the advancement of women's rights and human rights in our community. The 
CWPC 39th Annual Women of Achievement Reception
 will be night of celebration and empowerment at the Contemporary Art Center. Come mingle, network, and be inspired by the achievements of these incredible individuals.
This year, we are extremely proud to be honoring three women with our 
Woman of Achievement Award,
 
and one man with our
 
Good Guy award. 
Cathy Bailey
 is the incoming Assistant City Manager of Cincinnati and was formerly the Executive Director of Greater Cincinnati Water Works, where she was the first woman and African-American to lead the utility. In 2018 she was recognized as one of Greater Cincinnati YWCA's Career Women of Achievement. 
Dot Christenson,
 after
 
retiring from a career in nonprofit program development, worked at a fair-housing agency, with the Charter Committee where she is a Board member, the League of Women Voters, Planned Parenthood and more.
 
She is the author of a biography of her good friend Marian Spencer titled "Keep on Fighting: The Life and Civil Right Legacy of Marian A. Spencer. 
Marilyn
 
Zayas 
is currently
 
a Judge on the 1st District Court of Appeals. When elected she was the first Latina judge on any district court of appeals in the state. Prior to that she was a lawyer working to serve her community. We will also be honoring one extraordinary 
Good Guy
, 
Scott Knox
, Scott is an attorney who has spent his career focusing on the LGBTQ community. His firm works to overturn discriminatory laws, and until these laws are changed, helps clients with what is necessary to protect them and their loved ones.
