Ac mae AI o fudd i’r sectorau gofal iechyd o ran diagnosteg, gofal cleifion a darganfod cyffuriau.
Mae modelau iaith mawr, fel ChatGPT, yn dechnoleg AI hollbwysig, gan gynhyrchu cynnwys, ateb ymholiadau a chyfieithu ieithoedd. Ar sail ymchwil wreiddiol, bydd y ddarlith hon yn dangos y modelau hyn ac yn arddangos eu galluoedd.
Bydd y mynychwyr yn dysgu sut y mae AI yn trawsnewid busnesau, y llywodraeth, y byd academaidd a gofal iechyd. Bydd Phoey yn trafod rôl AI yn y meysydd canlynol: awtomeiddio, dadansoddi data, gwasanaethau wedi’u personoli, llunio polisïau, ymchwil, diagnosteg a darganfod gwybodaeth. Hefyd, bydd Phoey yn arddangos modelau iaith mawr ac yn trafod y modd y gellir eu defnyddio’n ymarferol.

Mae Dr Phoey Lee Teh wedi bod yn academydd ers 20 mlynedd a mwy. Yn 2011, enillodd radd PhD mewn Systemau Gwybodaeth Reoli. Arferai Phoey fod yn athro llawn ym Mhrifysgol Sunway, Malaysia; mae wedi ysgrifennu 85 o gyhoeddiadau, mae ganddi Dystysgrif Ôl-radd (PGCert), ac mae’n Uwch-gymrawd Advance HE ac yn Uwch-aelod o Sefydliad y Peirianwyr Trydanol ac Electroneg (IEEE).

The Impact of AI on the Business Sector

AI significantly impacts business, government, academia, and healthcare. In business, it automates tasks, enhances data analysis, and personalises customer experiences. Governments also use AI to improve public services, inform policy making, and enhance security. In academia, AI accelerates research, personalises learning, and streamlines administration. Healthcare sectors further benefit from AI in diagnostics, patient care, and drug discovery.
Large language models, such as Chat GPT are a key AI technology, which generate content, answer queries, and translate languages. Based on original research, this lecture will demonstrate these models and showcase their capabilities.
Attendees will learn how AI transforms business, government, academia, and healthcare. Phoey will explore AI’s role in automation, data analysis, personalised services, policy making, research, diagnostics, and knowledge discovery. Additionally, Phoey will demonstrate large language models and discuss practical applications.
Anyone with an interest in AI, business and industry leaders, academics, healthcare professionals, and technology enthusiasts are all welcome.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr Phoey Lee Teh has been an academic for more than 20 years, and received her PhD in Management Information Systems in 2011. Phoey was formerly a full professor at Sunway University, Malaysia; she has authored 85 publications, holds a PGCert, and is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
