On Day 1 of the 2-day holiday camp, you will be introduced to curated designs around the world to inspire and create. You will begin with sketching of ideas for your own moving vehicle by 
applying Design Thinking skills
 to understand the spatial needs required to support the ice cream production and sales. You will then prototype your Ice Cream Truck design in 3D, bringing ideas to life!

On Day 2, upon completion of your Ice Cream Truck prototype, you will be introduced to the digital craft of 
Graphic Design with Canva
. You will learn how Graphic Designers create visual content to communicate messages by applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, also understanding typography to design your 
Ice Cream Brand Logo and a Poster
 
to advertise for the grand opening of your Ice Cream Truck.

We promise it will be two full days of fun learning; developing your creative eye and aesthetic sensibility in both digital 2D crafting and physical 3D prototyping.
Laptops will be provided to students on 20 Jun to design digitally in Canva. However, we do encourage students to bring their own device, laptop or IPad to continue working on their project at home.

Jewel Changi Airport

Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex located in Singapore Changi Airport. Its core is the world&#39;s tallest indoor waterfall &quot;Rain Vortex&quot;, and its surroundings are arranged in a stepped forest. Construction began in December 2014 and officially opened on October 18, 2019, with a construction cost of 1.7 billion Singapore dollars.

Jewel Changi Airport has gardens, attractions, hotels and about 300 retail stores and restaurants. The total floor area is 135,700 square meters, with a total of 10 floors, including 5 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. Among the attractions, there are Shiseido Forest Valley, an indoor garden up to 5 floors, and the Starry Sky Garden on the top floor. Jewel Changi Airport has about 300,000 visitors per day.

🚝T1, T2, and T3 are interconnected, and you can also take the sky train between the three terminals (free of charge).
But please note that you can only see the waterfall when you go back and forth between T2 and T3 (T2-T3 left window, T3-T2 right window)

🚃If the flight is at T4, you can check in at other terminals first, and then take the airport shuttle to T4

Tips:
The attractions in the airport are all outside the customs, and you have to check in before you can visit them, but Jewel Changi Airport is inside the customs of Singapore, and you can only go there after entering Singapore. So if you are traveling in Singapore, you can go early on the day of your return trip and visit Jewel Changi Airport for half a day
