Join Julie Duhy for a special children's workshop in Drogheda this December. The Elevating the Ordinary Children's Saturday Workshop with Julie Duhy will take place at Highlanes Gallery on 36 Saint Laurence Street. This workshop is designed to inspire creativity in children by encouraging them to see everyday objects in a new light.

Drawing inspiration from Micheál O’Connell’s System Interference, children will learn to create grid-like doodles using objects such as paper clips, coins, pasta, straws, bottle caps, cotton buds, and more. By applying 'Systems interference' techniques, their doodles will transform these ordinary objects into something completely new and different.

This process-based workshop aims to introduce children, aged 5-12 years, to basic concepts and ideas as they explore their creativity. The emphasis is on understanding the ideas behind the objects, rather than solely focusing on the end result. All materials will be provided, and the workshop is priced at €8 per child.
