We are excited to add more dates for our English comedy nights at Speaker Bar & Comedy Club! Get ready for a night of laughter and fun.
The Speaker is Lyon's first Comedy Club, offering the best of stand-up comedy every week.  Once a month, we organise English-speaking stand-up events for our dear international customers. For one hour, you can enjoy the hilarious performances of three to five amazing English-speaking comedians, who have come from afar just to entertain you. If you are a fan of British and American humor, this show will definitely be up your alley! What about the lineup? 👉 Thursday 21st November - 7pm and 9pm:

Before, during or after the show, you can indulge in any of our delicious organic products, including locally crafted beers. The Speaker is an excellent place not only to laugh but also to relax, socialize, and meet new people. Come join us for a great time with great food and drinks! A special note for our international customers: every Friday, you can meet other friendly expats at the weekly apero organised by Vendredi Polyglotte! Check their Facebook group and Instagram page for all details on this recurring event. Doors open at 6.30pm. Please make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your show to allow enough time for seating and ordering food and drinks. While food options are available before or after the show only in the bar area, you are welcome to take your drink with you during the performance.

The Old City of Lyon is particularly famous for its Renaissance architecture, which is particularly marked throughout the region. The Old City of Lyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which not only demonstrates the Renaissance style, but also witnesses the economic prosperity of the period. The historic district is divided into three distinct areas: the Saint Jean, the Saint George and the Saint Paul. Each block has its own unique features and history. The Saint Jean district is the center of the old town, famous for its Gothic-style Saint Jean Cathedral, in addition to numerous slate alleys and Tuscan-style courtyards. The St. George&#39;s neighborhood is the birthplace of the silk industry, with many famous alleyways and hidden passageways that were once widely used by merchants.

We took the cable car up the mountain, and when we got off the cable car, we found ourselves standing in front of the church. After visiting the church, we found a place similar to a small garden, where we could have a cup of coffee while overlooking the city below the mountain.

I walked all over Lyon alone in two days.

When I read &quot;The Little Prince&quot; as a teenager, I felt that the story was full of loneliness. When I came to the hometown of the little prince in person, I was melted by Lyon.

When I went to Notre Dame de Fourvi&egrave;re Church, the Gothic and Byzantine styles were full of French colors.

It happened that the believers were worshiping. I stood in the last row and watched silently. When the believers sang the gospel, I flashed back to my mind &quot;Pray to God to be a good person for ten minutes&quot;.

Overlooking the whole city of Lyon from the top of the mountain, the glittering Rhone River was flowing quietly in front of me, and the melody of the accordion was in my ears.

Coming down from the top of the mountain, walking along the path, you can see houses of different colors everywhere, just like the colorful feeling of the city of Lyon. At the same time, the bells of the church followed closely.

In the building of Lyon celebrity murals, I found a bakery for breakfast. The boss also sat next to me with a cup of coffee. Seeing me taking pictures, he was very enthusiastic to help me take pictures (although the pictures were not very good hahaha), but it severely shattered my inherent impression of the French.

Walking all the way to the old town, while looking for postcards, I met the Little Prince at the corner. Is that you? Dear

An ancient building, it is well worth spending half a day to see, there are many great collections, the layout is very good, you won&#39;t get lost when walking, there is a very beautiful small garden, you can rest there when you are tired.

Although the theater is not well preserved, with only about a quarter of its original size left, it is still in normal use. We also saw some sound and light equipment on site. It must be very exciting to be able to enjoy a performance here.
