This is your chance to explore the historic Residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on an exclusive 
small-group tour
. You'll get a rare glimpse inside this impressive building, located in the picturesque Kalorama neighborhood.
The public spaces of the Residence are beautifully decorated with works of old Dutch masters and newer Dutch talent. Immerse yourself and be in awe of the exquisite artwork!
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet diplomats representing the Kingdom and learn more about their work, the longstanding ties between the Kingdom and the United States, and the rich history, economy, and culture of the Netherlands, Aruba, and Curaçao.
As you leave the Residence, you’ll be treated to a small gift.
Important Information for Visitors
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please take note of the following:
Registration is required
: Only guests who have registered in advance will be granted access to the Residence.
Timeslot entry
: You may only join the tour during your confirmed timeslot.
Arrival time
: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour to allow time for check-in. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated or rescheduled to a different timeslot.
Guided entry and exit
: All guests will be escorted in and out of the building at the beginning and end of the tour.
Security
: For security reasons, all visitors (including children) must be registered using their official first and last names. Please bring a valid photo ID. Bags may be subject to inspection.
Accessibility
: The Residence is wheelchair accessible.
Parking
: Please note that parking in the area is extremely limited or unavailable.
Personal belongings
: No storage is available for strollers, bicycles, coats, or other items. Only small handbags are permitted inside.

Came on September 22, 2017. I heard that the White House has not been open to the public since 911, and we can only look far outside the fence when we go, so the White House has become a boring landmark, taking a photo of the tourists who &ldquo;come here&rdquo; to check in. There is a big pine tree on the south side of the White House, and I didn&rsquo;t expect it to be a &ldquo;landmark&rdquo; and a &ldquo;national Christmas tree&rdquo;... Well, it seems that you should pick Christmas to visit.

It is free to make an appointment to visit the Congress Hall, but the number of visitors per day is limited. It is best to make an appointment in advance. We went at 9:30 in the morning. They will give you a white strip to stick on your clothes (see the white one on my mother&#39;s chest in Figure 1, and the green one is from the Library of Congress). There is only one time period with Mandarin explanation. I thought it was a Chinese, but it turned out to be a foreign girl. I was quite surprised. I thought she could speak Chinese, but it turned out that she spoke English and translated it into Mandarin for us using translation software! Can&#39;t they find a Chinese American to serve? But what should I do? The girl was very friendly and took a photo with us!

The Capitol is a must-visit stop in Washington. The entire building is also very magnificent and distinctive. It is a pearl-white marble building. The three-story flat-top building has a three-story dome in the center. The sculpture on the top of the Capitol is the goddess of freedom.

The Library of the Capitol is also suitable for checking in together. Most museums in Washington are open to the public for free.

[Value for money] It is open 24 hours a day and is free. Although we went there at 6 o&#39;clock, it gets dark early in winter. But the momentum is still there.

National Mall

Came on September 21, 2017. Between Capitol Hill and the Washington Monument, there is a large long green space, the National Mall of the United States, surrounded by many national museums and memorials, each venue is very interesting, a single place can be visited for half a day. If there is not enough time, it is not bad to take pictures. These buildings have different shapes, and the photos and punch cards are very popular.
