On September 22nd, 2023, the doors will open to Shields' captivating exhibition, showcasing his provocative and nostalgic photography. Located at 205 N. Akard Street in Dallas, this exclusive event will take place from 6-9pm. 

Recognized globally for his iconic images, Shields has pushed the boundaries of creativity and messaging, earning him the distinction of being the only living photographer to have a solo exhibition at the esteemed Sotheby’s auction house. His artwork challenges traditional concepts of beauty, glamour, and risk, and invites viewers to question their own perceptions. 

Shields' ability to create captivating scenes right in his own backyard demonstrates his mastery as a scene maker. Through his lens, he urges us to embrace our dreams and break free from the limitations we impose on ourselves. His artwork aims to shock, inspire, and provoke contemplation, encouraging viewers to challenge societal norms and be fearless in occupying their own space.
