Monument to the Discoveries

The Discoverer&#39;s Monument, next to Berenta, is a landmark building built to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Portuguese navigator Prince Enrique. Located on the banks of the Tejo River in the Beren district of Lisbon, it is shaped like a sailboat and symbolizes the glorious history of the great Portuguese maritime era. &zwnj; The square in front of the monument is laid with a giant navigation compass pattern, and the center is a world map marking the Portuguese navigation route.
