If you're a hoe for a good book and a good time then you've found the perfect book club for you ! This book club specifically is for femmes and femme-presenting readers in their 20s and 30s. If this does not pertain to you then please feel free to check any of our other book clubs available !

The Femmes Book Club supports debut authors and meets the first Sunday evenings to discuss, obsess, and dissect the books we're currently reading. The genre we read is primarily contemporary fiction but we also mix it up a bit with other genres. The main focus is on badass femme-leading characters and their stories.

Book Hoes Book Club Group is a group of people who are a hoe for a good book and want to meet other like-minded hoes here in the city. Making friends in the city as an adult can be hard, but when we all have something in common it's way easier. Please be mindful to others and come expecting a riveting conversation based on respect, admiration, and appreciation towards each other and the book we're reading.

Please be aware all tickets are final sale - no exchanges or refunds. Tickets are non-exchangeable between book clubs and events and are non-refundable.
Must be 21+ to attend.
This event will be photographed for promotional purposes.
 We take a group photo at the end of every book club (optional to be in), but photos are also taken during book clubs and events to promote the Book Club for Book Hoes on Instagram and TikTok. Photos are taken by both the organizer and by members who can take their own photos throughout our time together. If you do not wish to be photographed in the group photo, that is totally okay.

When speaking/engaging in conversation at book club, please be aware this is a cohesive conversation with equal opportunity for all members. Please be respectful for all options, perspectives, and experiences. Our rule of thumb is to make sure you are leaving space for all to provide their input. If you have contributed to the conversation already twice, hold to leave the conversation open for others before commenting further. Please be mindful of this, and a reminder will be sent out again prior to book club.

To see the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, you need to buy tickets in advance, the earliest boat is 9 o&#39;clock. The boat dock is in Battery Park, very close to the Wall Street Copper Bull. The park itself is not big, but you can also stroll around. You need to check in before taking the boat, and then line up, so you have to arrive early. Get on the boat or stand in front of the right side of the boat to see the Statue of Liberty with the best view. The second or third floors are fine. The boat time is about 20 minutes. After going to the island, it is mainly to see the Statue from multiple perspectives. There are pedestal tickets and crown tickets. If you have bad legs, don&#39;t buy crown tickets. There is also a museum on the island, the interpreter can be picked up for free, there is Chinese. After returning to Alice Island, you can&#39;t disembark if you don&#39;t want to see it, and you can come back directly to the pier.

It is recommended to queue up at the time of the reservation ticket, and let in after the point, no need to wait; the diversion guide is well done, not too congested; the observation deck is windy and cold in May; the ticket price for watching the sunset in the evening is a bit more expensive, and make an appointment early.
