A central theme throughout  From the Ashes  is connection, establishing links between the environment and those who explore it. The compositions are based on photography of thriving flora along the walking tracks and areas around Lake Taupō. They celebrate the experiences that nature offers us. Jodie adds,  What has emerged from the ashes are magical wonderlands that contribute to our well-being. Despite being formed by catastrophic volcanic disruptions, they are now peaceful ecosystems supporting flourishing flora and fauna.  Jodie, who holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Fine Art, moved to New Zealand over a decade ago and settled in the Taupō region. After teaching in Tūrangi and Taupō, Jodie now splits her time between teaching and creating art, using fire as her medium.

It is worth a visit. The farm show shearing wool is very interesting, and the sheep on the stage will not leave the scene after the end. The audience can go up and take pictures and touch (even some sheep&#39;s heads are touched bald lol). The farm tour behind is a foreigner who drives a tractor to take everyone, very friendly, Give you a lot of feed for sheep and alpacas. It&#39;s really fun to get close to the sheep alpacas
