INTRO TO IMPROV 1 – Welcome to Improv - With Tom Hill 5 WEEKS. ONE SHOW. $420. Mondays, January 6 - February 3   6:00-9:30pm PST  Location: 120 Princess Ave “With improv, it’s a combination of listening and not trying to be funny. “- KRISTEN WIIG In this in-person course you will learn the basics you’ll need to dive confidently into the world of improv. You will learn the terminology used in improvisation, how to build the basic scene, what makes a good offer, and what an “offer” is. You’ll get to know the value of playing at the height of your intelligence, and understand the importance of joy in live improv. You’ll also have a great, great time. By the time you’re finished with Intro 1, your final showcase will be a breezy walk in a crazy fun park. You will move onto Intro 2 confident making offers, supporting your scene partner, and comfortable being on stage. Refunds & Cancellations – Registration is non-refundable within two weeks of a class' start date. Refunds for class fees are available prior to the two week cut off, however Eventbrite fees will not be refunded. If you have any questions or concerns about refunds, please email classes@blindtigercomedy.ca. Accessibility - 120 Princess Ave is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk. Show Day Information - Wondering when your shows are? 95% of BTC shows are on Wednesday nights at 7PM or 9PM. Your exact show schedule will be sent on the first weekend of your class! Stanley Park is located in the heart of Vancouver, Canada, and is one of the largest urban parks in North America, covering a thousand acres. The park has more than 400 hectares of forest and is scattered with 500,000 trees, including hundreds of meters of Douglas fir, 800-year-old cedar, moss-dropping maples and a century-old western red cypress. The sea wall trail, which is fully paved with rocks and built by the sea, completely surrounds the entire Stanley Park, which is Vancouver&#39;s most distinctive slow-running trail, bicycle lanes and roller skating routes.
