Sundays, January 12 - February 9  6:00-9:30pm PST Location: China Cloud Studios “I think for anyone in improv, the biggest thing to get over is the fear. I think every improviser has that.” RACHEL DRATCH In this course you will explore the keys to making an improv show and improv scene compelling to watch. You will learn how to create dynamic characters, leverage your character’s status, and play with sincerity. You’ll learn the importance of variety and commitment in your offers, and the value of letting a scene breath. No better way to practice being dynamic than in front of an audience with two performances! You will move onto Intro 3 / Advanced Scenes 1 with the ability to create with your scene partner a full, quality scene, and an ability to commit wholeheartedly to your character. Refunds & Cancellations – Registration is non-refundable within two weeks of a class' start date. Refunds for class fees are available prior to the two week cut off, however Eventbrite fees will not be refunded. China Cloud is on the second floor of the building and is only accessible via a steep staircase. Stanley Park is located in the heart of Vancouver, Canada, and is one of the largest urban parks in North America, covering a thousand acres. The park has more than 400 hectares of forest and is scattered with 500,000 trees, including hundreds of meters of Douglas fir, 800-year-old cedar, moss-dropping maples and a century-old western red cypress.
