About this event Get a hands-on introduction to our Risograph at The Soapbox! Find out what a Risograph is, how it works, how to prepare art for it, and explore how to print with it. Participants can bring a prepared image or work on one during class. Over 3 hours we'll cover the basics of burning masters, digital vs. analog art, multi-color printing, registration, Riso printing quirks, maintenance, and other best practices. All students will get 20 copies of their art, plus assorted extra print samples. This workshop will give you the basic skills to incorporate Risography into your art practice.  Please note: Masking is now encouraged, but optional in the studio space. Individuals who feel uncomfortable using the space with others unmasked, whether for health or any other reason, are welcome to request mask wearing while they are using the studio space. About the Instructors Corey Bechelli draws comics and makes zines. For 20 years he's been printing and self publishing weirdo little books, and has displayed his work at zine fests, comic shows, flea markets, and art book fairs throughout the country. Dre Grigoropol is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She is a graduate of Moore College of Art and Design. Dre has years of digital art teaching experience. She has a deep passion for arts and creativity, enjoys painting, is involved in numerous artist groups and is a board member at the Soapbox. I feel that the attractions in downtown Philadelphia are really excellent. This monument near the Freedom Bell is unified and managed by National Park. Opposite the Freedom Bell is a large visitor center. Here you can consult the travel guide for Philadelphia. The staff and volunteers here are also very enthusiastic. There is also an exhibition in the visitor center. Although it will be more mini-pocket than the museum, it still does not affect the number of tourists here. If you come by car, there is also a parking lot on the ground floor of the independent palace visitor center for everyone to park. Although parking in downtown Philadelphia is not very convenient, parking spaces are not very easy to find. I recommend everyone to come to the underground parking lot of the visitor center to park. If you come in peak season, you need to come to the visitor center to apply for the ticket for the visit of the Independence Palace first, but I don&rsquo;t know if it&rsquo;s because of the epidemic. Philadelphia was once the capital of the United States, so there is plenty of history, museums, monuments, and sites around the city. The Philadelphia Museum of Art boasts a nice array of exhibits. I visited on a Friday evening after work because museum admission is free Friday evenings (pay what you wish). I did pay for parking at their garage, which was only $5.

Needless to say, the reputation of the Freedom Bell naturally feels like the Independence Palace can become a must-check place for Philadelphia attractions, as if every time you come to Philadelphia, you will also check in ritually. The two are also very close. Walking across the road is that the exhibition hall is open to the public for free. There is no need to buy tickets. The Independence Palace needs to book on the official website in advance. The ticket reservation fee of 1 yuan. The Free Bell has a separate exhibition hall, and the entrance needs to be checked. You can visit up close, you can walk to the free clock, you can surround 360 degrees before, but this time only opened 180 degrees, the other half stopped, but this advantage is that you can unlock a background free clock. The Liberty Bell was originally a palace in the Independence Palace, but was later displayed in the memorial on the lawn due to the cracking of the bell body.
