Try hand sewing in a session with Chelsea, also known as Holy Moly Textiles. This introductory class, "Introduction to Hand Sewing - IN-PERSON CLASS," will cover techniques such as sewing on buttons, repairing holes & hemming pants. Chelsea, a local seamstress based in Chattanooga, has over a decade of experience in making and altering clothes. She is passionate about personal style, sustainability & creative upcycles. You are encouraged to bring your own clothes in need of mending to the class. Each one of you will receive a sewing kit provided by the instructor. The event will be held on August 5, 2024, at The Chattery, 1800 Rossville Avenue Suite 108, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37408.
