Introduction to High School Basketball in Vancouver Are you a grade 7 student that is planning to attend Tupper High School next year? And are you interested in playing for the basketball team? Come join us at the Sunset Community Centre for a fun and informative session on high school basketball in Vancouver! The two one-hour session are designed especially for students who DO NOT play club basketball. You will get instructions on what to expect playing basketball in Grade 8, complete with drills and exercises that will prepare you for your high school career. First session is Wednesday, April 30th, starting at 5:00 pm, ending at 6:00 pm. Second session is Wednesday, May 7th, from 5 to 6. Both session at Sunset community centre on Main Street. Your coach will be Dave Dunkerley, who has been coaching Tupper students for preseason grade 8 baskeball for ten years, as well being a former Tupper parent with three kids who played for Tupper basketball teams.
