Join the Kitchen Lithography Printmaking workshop in Maitland on September 16, 2023. Each participant will receive a sheet of aluminum foil mounted on plexiglass or mat board, along with a sharpie for drawing their desired images. Once finalized, the plate will be etched using Coca-Cola, rinsed, dried, and then coated with canola oil for a smooth finish. Participants can either use a press or a wooden spoon to transfer ink onto the plate, resulting in beautiful prints. This low-cost workshop provides an ideal opportunity for individuals of all skill levels to gain insights into the fascinating world of lithography.
