Lantern Pike & Mellor Cross – 10 milesJoin Finding The Fells for a run in the hills north of New Mills, taking in the Sett Valley Trail and with (weather permitting) panormaic views over the moors at Lantern Pike and views cross Manchester at Mellor Cross. A great route for those new to running on trails or just wanting to explore somewhere new with the security of a liscenced run leader. Ideal for: any runners capable of running the full distance (this event isn't aimed at beginner runners). Pace will be sociable with plenty of pausing to admire the views. Newcomers to trail running are more than welcome. Distance & Elevation: 10 miles /1,300ft Terrain: Hard packed natural surfaces, some tarmac, grass/mud, gravel tracks. Required kit: off road/grippy running shoes essential, along with buff, waterproof jacket, snacks, water and any personal meds and running pack. Extra long sleeve layer and hat/gloves advised. Route description: Starting from station road in New Mills, we'll set out along the Millenium Walkway and under Union Road to join the Sett Valley Trail which we'll follow for approximately 3km when we join the Pennine Bridleway up to Lantern Pike and enjoy the views towards Kinder Scout. From Lantern Pike we'll head towards Bullshaw Farm before heading West to the village of Rowarth before turning south towards Broadhust Edge woods. From there we'll continue west to Mellor Cross for panoramic views over Manchester and beyond. We then have a 2 mile downhill finish back into New Mills. Meeting at 8:45am.

My time at Morarodum in The Hague with my mum was unforgettable. The wishing tree at the entrance of the Peace Palace has a Japanese style and is very close to the concept of the International Court of Justice. It is a relatively political attraction. Perhaps only people of a certain age like me will come here.

Inner Court & Hall Of The Knights

Although the Capitol and the Knights&#39; Building have a long history and are currently used as government departments, they are definitely more open than any other country in the world and do not have tall and mighty doormen.
