Children aged 4 years and older have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course, consisting of four one-hour sessions. Specifically designed for children between 4 and 10 years old who wish to learn how to ride a bike with pedals, this course helps build the necessary skills and confidence to ride independently. The sessions cover topics such as fitting a helmet, mounting and dismounting the bike, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. By gradually introducing the skills and removing pedals initially, children can learn with added safety and confidence. The course will take place on four dates starting from April 28th, from 2.15pm to 3.15pm, at Sprites Primary Academy in Ipswich. Parents are encouraged to observe the sessions to understand the teachings and support their children in practice. The course fee is £50 per child, with a small booking fee, and full refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date. Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor conditions, while bringing their own bike and helmet if available. Stabilisers are not used during the course, and helmets are mandatory for all participants.
