Children aged 4 years and above have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course consisting of 4 one-hour sessions. This specialized course is tailored for children between 4-10 years old who are eager to master the skill of riding a bike with pedals. It is recommended that 4-year-olds complete the Balance Bike course before enrolling in this program. Throughout the 4 sessions, young riders will develop the essential skills and confidence needed to ride a bike independently. The course covers a range of techniques including fitting a helmet, mounting and dismounting the bike, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. Instructors will gradually introduce these skills by adjusting the bikes in the initial three sessions to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment. The final session focuses on incorporating pedaling while performing the acquired skills. Sessions will take place from Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st May at Cringleford CE VA Primary School in Norwich. Parents are encouraged to observe and support their child's progress during all sessions. The course fee is £54.88 per child, with equipment available for borrowing if needed. Full refunds are applicable up to 7 days before the course commences.
