Children aged 4 years and above have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course, consisting of 4 one-hour sessions. This course is tailored for kids between 4 and 10 years old who are keen on mastering pedaled biking. It is recommended that 4-year-olds complete the Balance Bike course before enrolling. The sessions focus on equipping children with the necessary skills and confidence to ride a bike independently. Participants will learn essential techniques such as helmet fitting, mounting, dismounting, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. The first three sessions involve adjusting the bike height and removing the pedals, allowing children to practice with added stability. The final session reintroduces the pedals for a comprehensive learning experience. The course will take place from Tuesday, May 28, to Friday, May 31, from 9.30 am to 10.30 am each day at Cringleford Primary School, Norwich. Parents are encouraged to observe the sessions to support their child's practice outside of class. The course fee is £50 per child, with equipment borrowing options available. Proper attire and a helmet are mandatory. Refunds are applicable up to 7 days before the course commences.
