Experience the thrill of cycling even in the winter months at the Midlands Triathlon Academy - Leicester Cycle Circuit. This safe and controlled environment offers a purpose-built, floodlit 1km closed road circuit, away from traffic and dirty roads. Join a 90-minute group riding session where participants are grouped according to their ability level and challenged both technically and physically. These sessions are designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming season and provide a safe training environment during the winter months.

The sessions cover a range of skills including group riding, cornering, and race scenarios. Coaches are mindful of athletes' training needs and ensure that the sessions are not overly intense. This is a great opportunity for Midlands Academy, affiliate, and development squad athletes, as well as Midlands Triathlon series athletes, to come together and enhance their cycling skills. Non-Midlands Academy athletes can also participate by completing a consent form.

To participate, make sure you bring a clean road bike in good working order, a helmet, gloves, spare tubes, a pump, and other necessary tools for your bike. Dress appropriately for the weather and session type and bring enough food and drink to sustain you during the session. Don't forget to pack extra clothing and accessories to stay prepared for any weather conditions.
