Join the Mill Valley Fun 2-Day Red Cross Lifeguard Training - Blended Learning event, taking place on January 27th and 28th at the Mill Valley Tennis Club. This intensive training program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to save lives poolside. Prior to the in-person sessions, there will be a 7-hour blended learning component. It is essential that participants are available for the entire duration of the training. 

To be eligible for the course, participants must be at least 15 years old by the last day of the class and present their blended coursework certificate of completion to the instructor at the start of the in-person sessions. Upon arrival, participants will also need to pass a series of Red Cross swim tests, including a 300-yard nonstop swim, 2 minutes of treading water, and a timed weight-retrieval drill.

If you are not conditioned to swim, we recommend doing some pool work to prepare ahead of the class. 

Please note the refund policy: a 100% refund is available up to 7 days before the first class start date, but no refunds will be given within 7 days of the training or for those who fail to meet the requirements or complete the training. 

Make sure to bring your blended learning certificate, a competitive style swimsuit, snacks/lunch, plenty of water, sun protection, towels, and extra clothing and layers, especially during colder months. If you have any further questions or concerns, please email hayleychurch@cookseyswim.com.
