Established in 2005 through the merging of the Wind Ensemble and Strings Ensemble, UPO has evolved into a unique and vibrant musical entity. It offers students, alumni, and staff a platform to pursue their passion for music and showcase their talents to the HKUST community and beyond. As a cultural ambassador for HKUST, UPO not only enhances the campus’s artistic offerings but also connects with the wider Hong Kong community through its performances.
