Join the Myceliul Muses: Dancing With Your Shadows retreat, taking place on March 2, 2024, in the vibrant city of Toronto. Hosted at the AM Coffee Studio, located at 2233 Dundas Street West, this six-hour day retreat offers a transformative journey through expressive arts therapy, movement, and photography.

Throughout the retreat, participants will engage in various artistic practices, starting with an intentional meditation and microdose experience. Guided by Celina Lucarelli, a renowned queer expressive arts therapist, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with different aspects of themselves, including their inner child, highest or shadow self. Through activities led by an Expressive Arts Therapist, participants will delve deeper into their psyche and explore their hidden parts.

One of the highlights of the retreat is the creation of a unique mask using dried flowers and natural objects. These masks symbolize the reconnection with abandoned parts of the self. Joining the dance of existence, participants will also engage in guided movement and embodiment meditation, allowing them to somatically reconnect with their true selves.

The retreat will culminate in a fine art group photo session in the enchanting High Park. Captured by Paula Dicu, a talented fine art photographer, this commemorative photo will serve as a testament to the celebration of personal growth and the return of these lost parts of the self.
