Featuring installations, sculptures and photographs that explore themes of human perception, experimentation, and environmental awareness, it marks the first solo showcase of the Icelandic-Danish artist in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Eliasson’s art makes the invisible elements of our surroundings tangible, whether it’s the air around us in Endlessly happy invisible endings, 2023, the transformative potential of colour in Yellow corridor, 1997, or the magnetic field wrapping a globe in Adrift compass, 2019.The exhibition also offers insights into the logistical journey of Eliasson’s artworks, featuring drawings made in the crates used for their transport, underscoring the environmental considerations behind their creation.

I would highly recommend visiting the Auckland Art Gallery as the exhibitions are thoughtfully curated and features both permanent and non permanent collection. We love the inspiring art by Robin White at the time we visited last December. There&#39;s a cafe and art shop where you can purchase unique crafts and souvenirs. Entrance is absolutely free.

The venue is slightly smaller, but the content is still very rich, and rainy days do not affect the fun at all. It is very suitable for playing with the nearby Mission Bay. The souvenirs inside are very cute and I bought several plush 😘

The whole experience was great, and it&#39;s a great place to learn about New Zealand&#39;s history and culture. The museum is quite large and worth a good half-day visit. There are many interactive exhibits, especially suitable for taking children out. There are also Chinese services, which is recommended.

Auckland Central Park is not like the common landscape parks in the city. It is more like a natural forest. The winding tree-lined paths and the tall trees on both sides make you feel like you are walking into the original green field, with thick fallen leaves and soft soil under your feet. The air is filled with the fragrance of plants, which is very suitable for jogging, walking the dog or just taking a quiet walk. There are also several sculptures and small bridges hidden along the way, which adds a little fun. Although it is not far from the city, you can completely escape the rhythm of the city once you enter the park.

Although Mount Eden is not high, you can overlook the whole of Auckland from the top of the mountain, and the view is particularly wide. The remains of the crater are clearly visible, covered with green grass, a peaceful green. It is not difficult to walk all the way up. You can also see sheep grazing on the hillside. Their leisurely appearance makes people can&#39;t help but take a few more photos. The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong, but it is also very fresh, which makes people feel particularly bright. It is a good place that does not require tickets or planning, but can leave very deep memories.
