Dear CLASSMATES,
You are invited to a SIXTIETH REUNION WEEKEND, PALISADES HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1965! Saturday will be our main event with a casual picnic on Sunday to ensure everyone has the chance to reconnect.
WHERE: At the historic MOUNTAIN MERMAID in TOPANGA CANYON, originally conceived as a country club in 1925, and today, a declared landmark and home of a classmate. This reunion is a heartfelt celebration organized by your fellow graduates, designed to be more relaxed and affordable than one organized by a commercial reunion company. Over the decades, many of us have fondly gathered at the Mermaid, bringing our favorite dishes and drinks. This event is simply a super-sized version of those joyful get-togethers!
WHEN: The MAIN EVENT is on SATURDAY, JULY 12, from 2 PM to 11 PM, for a time of reminiscing, food and drink, music, dancing, and simply catching-up with old friends. Dinner is at 6 PM. On the following day, there is a PICNIC AND POOL PARTY, SUNDAY, JULY 13, starting at 12 PM, for a weekend filled with cherished memories, laughter, and connection.
POTLUCK: Please bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert to share, and remember to BYOB (bring your own beverages) for both days.
DRESS CODE: Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable! Be prepared for warm weather, and don’t forget your swimsuit and towel if you’d like to take a dip in the pool.
TICKETS are available only through EVENTBRITE for a suggested donation of $50. to help defer preparation, valet, and other expenses. Any additional donations will be gratefully accepted! This celebration is exclusively for the graduates of the Palisades High School Class of Summer 1965, and we can’t wait to see each of you.
PARKING: Valet will assist you with parking on-site, please DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET.
