Drawing from various schools of physical theater, such as Viewpoints Space, Laban’s Eight Efforts, and Lecoq’s chorus, we will equip you with a diverse set of tools to enhance your physical presence on stage. 

By incorporating elements of Viewpoints Space, you will learn how to utilize topography and architecture to enrich your narratives and convey relationships and status with greater nuance. Laban’s Eight Efforts will enable you to tap into characters that are distinct from your own, expanding your character vocabulary and adding depth to your performances. Additionally, you will discover how Lecoq’s chorus can seamlessly transition you from surreal group scenes to more intimate ones, while also propelling the story forward.

Under the guidance of Claudia Pants, a seasoned improviser, contemporary dancer, and screen actor from Italy, you will have the opportunity to practice these techniques through a jam session or an improvised physical piece. Claudia, a renowned facilitator of improvised movement workshops, has traveled the world sharing her expertise and participating in international festivals and intensives.
