Picklin' for Patriots is a charity pickleball tournament dedicated to supporting local homeless veterans in Chicago. This event, hosted by a Naperville military vet, aims to bring together a community of pickleball players and veterans for a night of camaraderie, competition, and giving back. Taking place on November 10, 2023, at Sure Shot Pickleball in Naperville, this tournament promises an evening filled with doubles, round robin pool play, and a championship tournament. Participants can register for a fee of $50, which will contribute to private facility rental, tournament organization, and party room accommodations, including food and beverages. In the spirit of supporting our heroes, attendees are encouraged to bring donations of winter hats, gloves, jackets, and blankets for the local Chicago Homeless Veterans. The event will also provide a private party room with catered refreshments to keep everyone fueled and energized throughout the tournament. Whether you're an experienced pickleball player or a first-timer looking for a fun day of play, Picklin' for Patriots welcomes all participants. If you are unable to attend the event, you can still make a difference by donating financially or contributing winter attire.
