The library@orchard is proud to present the Pro Series: Reconstructing wasted clothing with Muta.wear. This engaging workshop by Adel Ng is exclusively available to members of the National Library Board in Singapore. Participants are required to have a myLibrary username to complete the registration process. If you do not have one yet, you can easily create it on the National Library Board website. 

During this workshop, attendees are encouraged to bring in their old clothes or linens to explore the art of deconstruction and reconstruction. Led by experienced Designer/Maker Adel Ng, participants will delve into the concept of repurposing items that may seem useless, transforming them into something valuable once again. Adel Ng, with over two decades of crafting experience, is known for her meticulous design approach and innovative experiments.

The Pro Series, curated by library@orchard, provides a platform for in-depth discussions on various design disciplines. This event offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the creative process behind transforming wasted clothing into new, functional pieces. Great day out with the family. Recommend the fast track tickets as the Queues for some rides were long! Weather was bad in the morning so we delayed our entry and so we were in the park for approx 7 hours. Food is pricey. Overall a great experience. I wish they add a Nintendo zone to this park! My rating 7/10

The whole trip was perfect! Singapore is really a place for people! Not only the scenery is beautiful, but Singapore citizens are also very, very friendly to the Chinese! The attractions that I especially want to recommend are Singapore Changi Airport and Binhai Garden, which is really amazing. The hotel I chose is also very good, Trip.com The recommended hotel is really cost-effective. Special thanks to Xiaoxiao, the housekeeper of this Singapore trip. He is really a very responsible consultant. He took good care of us throughout the whole process, including the entry list to help us fill it out. I have any problems during the trip. I have serious and responsible help solve them. The pick-up and drop-off arrangement is very intimate, the recommended places to go shopping are very good, there are questions and answers! Really intimate good housekeeper! Praise! In short, I recommend everyone to come to Singapore, it is really a good tourist country!
