This workshop is designed to help individuals enhance their public speaking skills through the art of stand-up comedy. By using humor as the primary tool, participants will learn how to become persuasive speakers, improve stage presence, and develop self-confidence. Throughout the course, students will gain valuable knowledge on being a great Master of Ceremonies, effectively interacting with an audience, and handling hecklers and interruptions. They will also explore the 15 essential tools of comedy and much more. Completion of Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2. The investment for this comprehensive workshop is $550 incl. HST, and it runs for 7 weeks, including a Grad Show on the final week. Each student will also receive personalized feedback and have the opportunity to perform a 5 to 7 minute set during the online Grad Night.
