Wir freuen uns sehr, Euch zum nächsten ART BREAKERS Artist Talk einzuladen – diesmal mit der außergewöhnlichen Berliner Künstlerin ROMY. Romy Campe, in der Kunstszene schlicht als ROMY bekannt, widmet sich mit intensiver Hingabe dem Menschenbild. Ihre Arbeiten meisterhaft in Öl gemalt, oft in bis zu vierzig Schichten, lassen Einflüsse der alten Meister wie Rembrandt, Vermeer oder Caravaggio erkennen und wirken dennoch ganz zeitgenössisch.  In ihrer neuen Ausstellung „PURE ROMY“ stehen Porträts im Mittelpunkt: sinnlich, geheimnisvoll, androgyn, manchmal surreal. ROMY erschafft mit ihren Figuren eine Welt zwischen Realität und Fantasie, in der klassische Malerei auf digitale Technik trifft. In ihren Gemälden, Zeichnungen, Objekten und Installationen begegnen uns hybride Wesen, Transformationen, Traumsequenzen und mythische Andeutungen. Besonders spannend: die sogenannten ROMS – digitale Malerei-Collagen, die durch Bewegung zum Leben erwachen und per Tablet oder Smartphone erfahrbar werden. Wir erleben die Ausstellung in der Galerie Köppe Contemporary exklusiv und ganz persönlich. Annette wird im Gespräch mit ROMY spannende Einblicke in ihr Werk und ihre künstlerische Entwicklung geben. Natürlich gibt es wie immer Raum für Eure Fragen, Gespräche und einen entspannten Austausch. Drinks und Snacks stehen bereit, und wir freuen uns auf auf einen inspirierenden Abend mit Euch!
