Engage your children in a two-hour workshop where they can learn how to ride a bike for the first time, acquire new skills, and gain confidence in handling a bike, hosted by the City of Fremantle. Our industry experts, People on Bicycles will cover a range of topics listed below: Encouraging toddlers, small children to start balancing and learning to ride.Getting children and teenagers to ride and be competent and confident at navigating low traffic environments safely.Learning what a safe bike looks and feels like.What you need to know: The meeting place is at the basketball courts behind the Fremantle PCYCNo costSuitable for children 3 years and overPlease bring water and enclosed shoes.Bicycles and helmets will be provided. There are no prisoners in Fremantle Prison in Western Australia, and it has been preserved for tourists to visit.
Today, the prison still retains its original intact appearance. A guided tour will take you from the outside to the outside, including the interior of the prison, kitchen, toilets, public bathrooms, chapel, dark solitary cell, and narrow and terrifying prison cell. There are also introductions to the torture instruments of the time, recreating the life behind bars at that time.
The admission fee includes a guided tour, which is only available in English and takes about an hour.
