The Running of the Chihuahuas returns to The Wharf on Saturday, May 3 for a day of fun, festivities and fundraising.

Please note - this registration is 
only 
for Chihuahuas who will race in the Running of the Chihuahuas. The races are free to view and are open to the public.
All dogs, regardless of breed, are welcome at The Wharf, but ONLY Chihuahuas may race - we understand some Chihuahuas may not be purebred, but in the spirit of fair competition, we ask that dogs in the race be typical Chihuahua size and 
clearly 
have Chihuahua as the dominant breed.
All race entry fees are donated to Rural Dog Rescue.
THE DETAILS:
Saturday, May 3, 2025 on District Pier at The Wharf.
Check in begins at 1pm, first race is at 2 pm.
The Race is a 70 foot sprint on the official race track on District Pier.
Dogs will race in heats of up to eight, culminating in a championship faceoff.
First place gets a trophy and $100, second place gets $75, third place gets $50.
Dogs should be 15 pounds or less and no taller than 12 inches at the shoulder. We want it to be fun and fair for all. Dogs that are too big or not recognizable as a Chihuahua or clearly a Chihuahua mix will be excused.
The winning dog is the first to run completely across the track finish line—tail included.
All dogs' vaccinations must be current.
All dogs must be on a leash when not involved in a race; unruly dogs will be excused.
Must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages.
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If event is cancelled due to weather, entry fees will still be donated to charity.
RELEASE:
You agree to release and hold harmless the District Wharf and all associated parties from any and all liability and damages arising from your participation in this event. You understand that you are responsible for your dog(s) at all times and unruly dogs will be excused with no refund.

Came here on September 22, 2017.

I heard that the White House has not been open to the public since 9/11. When we went there, we could only watch it from a distance outside the fence, so the White House became a boring landmark. We took a tourist check-in photo to end our visit.

There is a big pine tree on the south side of the White House. I didn&rsquo;t expect it to be a &quot;landmark&quot; as well, the &quot;National Christmas Tree&quot;... Well, it seems that we should choose to visit during Christmas.

⌚️ Time: 8:30-16:30, Monday-Saturday Capitol Hall appointment visit is free, but the number of daily visits is limited, it is best to make an appointment in advance, we are 9:30 in the morning, they will give you a white stick on the clothes (see picture 1, the mother&#39;s chest is white, Green is the Library of Congress). There is only one time period that is Mandarin interpretation. I thought it was Chinese. The result was a foreign sister. I was quite surprised. I thought she could speak Chinese. The result was that she said English to us and translated it into Mandarin with translation software! Can&#39;t they find an American Chinese to serve? But what should be the matter, the young lady has a very good attitude, and she took the initiative to take a photo with us! The Capitol is a must-check stop for Washington. The whole building is also very magnificent and distinctive. The pearl-white marble building is a three-story dome towering in the center of the three-story flat-top building. The sculpture at the top of the Capitol is the free woman sleeve god, the Capitol Library. It is also suitable for punching in together, and most museums in Washington are free to the public.

The National Art Gallery is located in Washington, DC and is managed by the Smiths Association.
