The Ishibashi Foundation Collection now consists of approximately 3,000 works, including Impressionist paintings from the latter half of the nineteenth century, modern paintings from the twentieth century, modern Japanese paintings from the Meiji period on, postwar Abstract paintings, early modern art from Japan and elsewhere in East Asia, and ancient Greek and Roman art. Here we introduce, throughout the year, a variety of works selected from the collection.
Special Section Matisse’s Studio
Interiors were consistently important elements in paintings by Henri Matisse (1869-1954). Particularly from the 1940s on, his studio was a vitally important space, where daily life and creating came together. This exhibition, in connection with the acquisition of his Dancer and Rocaille Armchair, Black Background (1942), explores, through works in the Ishibashi Foundation Collection and from multiple viewpoints, the role of the studio in Matisse’s paintings.

Actually, there is a WING building opposite the Takanawa exit of JR Shinagawa Station. Just walk straight inside from the building and the outdoor escalator. The adult ticket on site is 2,500 yen/ticket. The price on Ctrip is still slightly cheaper. It is effective immediately after buying on site. Just scan a code for one order. After entering, there is an indoor pirate ship on the right hand side (500 yen/time, and then follow the route in the museum. There is also a paid carousel on the left hand side). The route is planned. You can&#39;t go back halfway because the escalator is not open. The dolphin show is quite interesting, mainly divided into the main and supporting roles, and there are lights and other blessings. The gift hall at the end is also very cute. Overall, it is still worth a visit.

I had lots of fun at the Ginza Art Aquarium Museum! There were many interesting tanks for the goldfish to swim in and for you to observe. We particularly enjoyed the colorful lights and the unique designs. My favorite was a tank adorned with mirrorballs.

The Naoko Park is one of the oldest parks in Japan. The cherry blossoms in this park are very beautiful. It was morning when I went there. Many people were exercising here. There were also many recreational facilities. If you have nothing to do, you can come and visit.
