Gyula Czimra is one of the most distinctive voices in twentieth-century Hungarian painting. He was a solitary and reclusive painter with a peculiar temperament, but the high quality and mature tone of his works earned him a place among the most significant Hungarian artists of his time. The Hungarian National Gallery’s large-scale retrospective presents nearly half of his known oeuvre: almost 180 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and tapestries.

City Park (V&aacute;ros liget) was built in 1817. It is a forest park behind Heroes Square, covering an area of ​​about 1 square kilometer. It has hot springs, a zoo, an amusement park, and a botanical garden. It is a complex park suitable for all ages. There is an agricultural museum in the park, which is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Generally, group tourists will not move here after arriving at Heroes Square, so it is very quiet.
