Join SheJumps at Alibi Ale Works for a women's night of learning about mountain bike maintenance!What to expect: We will cover what should be in your pack and how to use your tools for trailside repairs. We will talk about fixing flats (tubes and tubeless), chain repairs, and troubleshooting other issues that might arise on the trail. We will also cover general maintenance to keep your bikes riding smoothly all season long. Our techs will assist with any questions you may have and there will be a chance to get your hands dirty on your bike as well! Timeline:
5:30 - 5:45 - Check in and time to mingle
5:45 - 6:45 - Educational demonstration
6:45 - 7:30 - DIY repair/maintenance practice and mingle time
7:30 - Event end Cost: $10 Space is limited so reserve your spot now. Join us for a night of learning and connecting with more women in the riding community! No prior maintenance knowledge is required. Bikes not required to attend but encouraged. See you at Alibi! --- Parking and getting to the event: there is free parking at Alibi and on the street, and there is also ample paid parking nearby. Facility information: there will be gendered restrooms available at Alibi Ale Works. Seating can be provided for all participants. While food won't be provided, food/beverages will be available for purchase at Alibi Ale Works. Please reference their menu ahead of time to learn about specific things they offer. Accessibility information: Alibi Ale Works is an ADA accessible space. To find us day-of, look for: our SheJumps volunteers at Alibi Ale Works with SheJumps signs and/or flags.
