The techniques of woodblock printing that flourished in the Edo period and Meiji era developed into a modernized artform called Shin-hanga in 1915. Shin-hanga builds on the tradition of collaborative work among the publisher, carver, printer, and designer, while also reflecting modern, eclectic tastes. Landscapes by Kawase Hasui (1883–1957) and Yoshida Hiroshi (1876–1950) as well as images of beauties by Hashiguchi Goyō (1880–1921) and Itō Shinsui (1898–1972) captivated Japanese people of Taishō and Shōwa eras and are still widely admired around the world. In conjunction with the special exhibitions, Tsutaya Jūzaburō: Creative Visionary of Edo andUkiyo-ein Play, this exhibition explores the variety and depth of woodblock printing and its expressive forms.

In the East Museum, I first visited the East Museum. The main exhibitions include Chinese, Egyptian, Western Asia, Southeast Asia and North Korea. The most attractive thing for me is undoubtedly a large number of Chinese cultural relics. Chinese cultural relics have five dedicated showrooms, plus some comprehensive and related displays, occupying more than half of the exhibition space. There are prehistoric stone and pottery, bronzes in Shang and Zhou Dynasty, pottery and portrait stones in the Han Dynasty, Buddha statues in the Wei, Jin and North and South Dynasties, gold and silverware in the Tang Dynasty and Tang Sancai, porcelain and calligraphy and paintings in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing. Dongbo is the most abundant museum in Japan with Chinese cultural relics, some of which have been listed as national treasures or important cultural treasures in Japan. Some of them were circulated to Japan through the millennium friendly exchanges between China and Japan, and some were looted during Japan&#39;s invasion of China.

It is convenient to get the ticket, and you need to exchange it for a paper ticket. I didn&#39;t feel anything special on the first floor, just a normal street view. It happened to be the last day of the Conan exhibition, so it was nice to walk around, otherwise the top floor would be a bit monotonous. Coming from Sensoji Temple, the transportation is still convenient, you can arrange it together, Sensoji Temple in the morning, eat nearby at noon, and come here around 1 pm.

Apparently there won&#39;t be a dolphin show after the renovation, so I went to see it for my kids before then.The stage is small, so the distance is very close, and it&#39;s very impressive.The inside of the building is small and seems to be suitable for toddlers to elementary school students.

It was definitely worth the money. The top deck is such a better experience than the regular one and not for a great amount more. You are welcomed with a drink and get a more beautiful view including the bridge
